The Williston State College Diversity Committee is made up of faculty, staff, and student representatives. The committee's goal is to promote cultural diversity and awareness in the classroom, campus, and community.
Diversity Committee is responsible for many cultural activities around campus and holds events throughout the year. For example, the committee hosts an annual campus event called, "Taste of Cultures," where faculty, staff, and students bring different traditional dishes and offer tastings to anyone on campus. The committee tries to hold a certain number of events annually and sets goals at the first meeting for that academic school year.
Kim Weismann chairs Diversity Committee and attends regular meetings with the NDUS Diversity Committee to report WSC's progress. Weismann is also the WSC Student Diversity Club Advisor. If you would like to join the committee or a copy of past meeting minutes please contact Weismann.
