Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies from Minot State University
Master of Arts in Addiction Studies

Career history:
Licensed Addiction Counselor for State of North Dakota
Lead NWHSC Intensive Outpatient Matrix Program in a 5 year Certification from the Matrix Institute
Received License as Clinical Supervisor June 2014  

Job responsibilities:
Provide confidential consultation, brief short term intervention and referrals. Crisis intervention. Provide Education and awareness to WSC campus on topics related to mental health and drug/alcohol use.

Community service:
Born and raised in Williston, attended college at University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Was a student athlete, starting 2 years for the Marauder volleyball team. Received Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies from Minot State University in 2010 and returned to Williston to complete practicum placement at Northwest Human Service Center. June 2011 received counseling License and worked at NWHSC as a Licensed Addiction Counselor for 3 additional years. Worked closely with ND Probation and Parole and Child Protection Services. Areas of focus included addiction evaluations, individual, group, and family therapy as well as emergency on call services and suicide assessments for both adolescents and adults.
