Video segment featuring Williston State to air locally and nationally
WILLISTON, N.D. - It's been almost a year in the making, but Williston State finally has a finished product. In the summer of 2012, WSC was approached by a company called "Viewpoints" with an opportunity to produce a video segment.
WSC President, Dr. Raymond Nadolny jumped at the chance stating, "At the time we had a lot of staff who were, and still are, providing remarkable services. I thought it was an opportunity to recognize the outstanding work they were contributing to students in a hyper-growth economy."
Viewpoints, hosted by former NFL legend Terry Bradshaw, was "designed to give viewers information they needed about subjects that affected them in manageable portions," states Veiwpoints.com. The program explores many topics in varying areas like education, the environment, and healthcare. The show is headquartered in South Florida and films on location throughout the United States and Canada.
Williston State's segment focuses on education, in particular how WSC is dealing with the current local economy and fulfilling community needs. The video is about five minutes in length and features four WSC employees who each share their experience working with students and industry in our changing environment.
"I believe that what we see in this segment represents not only what WSC is experiencing, but what the community at large is experiencing. We have all had to step up to meet enormous demands," said President Nadolny. "It demonstrates the best of all of us."
The segment will air over the next few weeks in both local and national markets. The released placement schedule shows the following air dates:
Minot/Bismarck/Williston Saturday 7/6 8:30am FOX KNDX-TV
Minot/Bismarck/Williston Sunday 7/14 5:00pm FOX KNDX-TV
