    Associate Degree in Nursing Degree Requirements

    16 credits completed in residence
    2.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA)
    2.75 minimum GPA in all prerequisite and program requirement courses
    67 total credits
    Minimum grade of 'C' in all program courses
    College Strategies or College Transitions
    If a student repeats a required science course, a grade of 2.0 (C) or higher must be obtained in the first repeat

    General Education Requirements

    WSC belongs to the Dakota Nursing Program which is accredited by the State Board of Nursing (See approval documentation).

    Students who have successfully completed the Certificate in Practical Nursing program through WSC or have a valid LPN license can apply to the program.  Upon successful completion of the 9 month program, students will be eligible for an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Associate Degree in Nursing and to take the NCLEX-RN ®.
