What is Online or IVN Learning?
IVN or Interactive Video Network allows for two way synchronous communication between students and instructors at different sites. This feature not only allows Williston State to bring in more program options for students at the Associates level, but also allows Williston State to bring in degree programs at the Baccalaureate level from other campuses to meet the needs of our local students. Please note that although we partner to bring these Bachelor level programs to the WSC campus we are not the degree granting institution for Bachelor level programs so therefore students will need to apply and be accepted by the four year institution offering the degree. Williston State College has partnered with other NDUS campuses to offer the following Bachelor's degree programs on campus at WSC. Please contact Katie Peterson (email@example.com / 701-774-4594) for more information on the programs listed below and which campus they are offered through.
Bachelor of Science Business Administration
Bachelor of Science Education Elementary Education

Online Learning is a method of study that utilizes the Internet to deliver course content and communication with the instructor. Online courses are often taught inside a Learning Management System (LMS) and employ various internet based technologies. Williston State College has selected Moodle as its LMS. Moodle offers many tools for use in the virtual classroom. WSC also has other web-based technologies available to students and instructors including: web conferencing with Blackboard Collaborate, instant messaging with Blackboard IM, lecture capture with Tegrity, and many more Web 2.0 technologies that are readily available. This allows WSC to offer a variety of online programs at the Associates level to students. Williston State College currently offers the following Certificates, AAS and AA/AS programs online.
