As an off-campus student, what library resources can I access from home?
The library's licensed resources are available for your use from off-campus using your campus connection login. If you are unsuccessful in logging into the databases, contact a librarian between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The only database in this list that is accessible from campus only is ProQuest's Ancestry Library.
How do I use the electronic databases / resources?
There are several short tutorials which should help you start your research at the bottom of this page
My instructor says I must use reserve materials from the library. How do I get these items?
If you take classes on campus, stop at the library desk and ask for the materials your instructor has placed on reserve status. You will need your student ID with you. Your instructor will have set the borrowing restrictions, including how long the material may be used and whether it may leave the library or not.
If you are taking classes from a distance, simply email or telephone the Learning Commons with course name and titles of the items needed. They will be sent to you with a mailing label to use for their return.
How do I renew library materials?
Library materials may be renewed via the My Account in the WSC Learning Commons catalog provided the materials are not overdue.
