Student Health Insurance
The North Dakota University System (NDUS) offers health insurance coverage to NDUS students through United Healthcare insurance company. Domestic students (i.e. American citizens) are not required by the NDUS to carry this coverage, however, the Affordable Care Act does require some sort of health insurance. This plan is an option.
All NDUS full-time students who attend at least one course face-to-face on campus are eligible to enroll in this student health insurance plan.

Domestic students must enroll on their own at the United Healthcare Website: www.UHCSR.com/NDUS . Premiums must be paid at the time of enrollment. For the 2016-2017 Annual Plan and the 2016 Fall Plan, students must enroll by September 15, 2016
International Student Insurance Requirement:
All International, except Canadian and Norwegian students must enroll in the Student Health Insurance plan, except for limited policy exceptions per SBHE Policy 505 and NDUS Procedure 505. Eligible dependents, including Domestic Partners, of students enrolled in the plan may participate on a voluntary basis. International students are automatically enrolled by semester in the student health insurance plan by their institution. The premium cost is billed to the international student's campus connection account.

International students who demonstrat that they have comparable insurance coverage may request a waiver to this automatic enrollment. Questions about waivers should be directed to the Vice President at Student Affairs, email@example.com.
Plan Coverage Periods and Premiums:
Students may enroll during a term's open enrollment period for the following term options. The premiums for each enrollment term are as follows:

||January 1, 2017-August 15, 2017
For the 2016-2017 Annual and Fall Plans, students must enroll by September 15th, 2016. The premium is due in full at the time of enrollment.

Click on the Williston State College link, follow the directions on the right to create an account, once you have created your personal account you will be able to enroll, follow the directions for online payment via bank account or credit card.
